The Classic Corvette Club UK are holding their Corvette Nationals Event at The Sharnbrook Hotel next to the A6 in Bedfordshire.

Corvettes from all over the UK and Europe will be gathering for a two-day event. Saturday there will be a cruise, technical talks, the club AGM, followed by a gala dinner at the hotel. Burley Park, Burley, New Forest. Just off the A31 at the bottom of the M27 is the beautiful New Forest village of Burley. It’s a huge venue acres of park land overlooked by a gorgeous manor house so plenty of space for vehicles. 40 traders already booked, with plenty of food vendors. There’ll also be New Forest ice cream all washed down with a drink from the on-site micro brewery or plenty of tea and coffee. There will also be a Champagne bar as well. The fifth annual running of the Hot Rod Races will be happening on Pendine Sands over the weekend of June 24 and 25. Once again there will be two days of non-stop racing action on the historic beach in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. Racing starts around 11am each day and racing for around five to six hours, with non-stop action from start to finish. This incredible award-winning event has fast become the most important date on the hot rod calendar, participants coming from all over the world to take part in the most exciting competition available to traditional hot rods and customs. 2016 saw a huge induction into the 100mph Club, with more than a quarter of the field hitting the magic mark. Racing only open to members of the Vintage Hot Rod Association and their pre-1949 hot rods and customs. VHRA informs us that tickets have sold out, but viewing is free outside the pits. Saturday 16 – Newport Quayside / Sunday 17 – Ryde Seafront. A classic weekend offering something for all kicks off with the Saturday show held at the Newport Quay venue from 10am. Alongside the River Medina in the centre of the Island, visitors stream in from early doors to take advantage of some unique and rare machines on view. 2016 saw the American car section increased dramatically drawing stunning stateside V8s from as far north as Barnsley in Yorkshire. The island’s American Car Club (ACIOW) always attend in force but with fellow enthusiasts joining from the mainland including the Solent Renegades visitors enjoy an impressive ‘Yank’ showing. Sunday’s Ryde seafront display stretches along the Esplanade for a couple of miles, two and three deep. Organiser Victor Gallucci tries to place the majority of the 250+ ‘Stateside’ motors around the town’s bowling alley which can present a challenge with around 700 classics on show. The American car section has grown dramatically with many returning annually therefore early booking is recommended and only by contacting Victor Gallucci.
