’57 Dodge Sweeps Car of the Year 2018!

This year’s Footman James & Kingstown Shipping saw seven finalists battle out for the title of Car of the Year on the Classic American stand at the Classic Motor Show over the weekend of November 9-11th. The judging by three sets of judges, including last year’s winner, Ross Meek, whose 1967 Mustang Fastback GT took the win in 2017, took place over all three days the show was open. Editor Ben Klemenzson announced the winner on Sunday afternoon, much to the delight of Gary Sanders, owner of the 1957 Dodge Custom Royal which took the crown. Gary’s Dodge was featured in the May 2018 issue received the trophy from Footman James Julia Attwood and Kingstown’s James Hadley and also receives a cheque for £500.
