Next month’s Classic American features the best from every segment of the American car scene. Taking pride of place is one car that proved a real trophy magnet wherever it went last year, Clive Cashin’s beautifully restored 1970 Dodge Charger. Another Pentastar favourite is this ultra-rare, outrageously finned 1960 Plymouth Belvedere; fins never got more flamboyant or far-fetched than this! Fans of the Fifties will also love the 1957 Lincoln we’ve got lined up. On the performance side we take a look at a big block 1969 Chevrolet Corvette that’s been one man’s labour of love and now resides in the sunny Costas. We’ll also be getting the low-down on a late model 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. This year’s Arizona classic car auctions were eagerly anticipated as an indicator of the state of classic car prices – however the real drama was when one of the tents blew away, damaging a number of cars - We have a full report from an industry insider...
