Penny Farthing Fairs is delighted to announce its event at the picturesque Wentworth Woodhouse Estate, nr Rotherham, S Yorks S62 7SB – signed, under 3 miles J35a M1, on Bank Holiday Sunday, May 6.
The event will include displays of classic cars and motorcycles, commercials, kit cars, customers, military, etc. plus m-e-g-a autojumble, catering, helicopter rides, etc.
A major feature of the show will be the m-e-g-a autojumble – for the uninitiated, an autojumble is a sale of car and motorcycle parts, accessories, tools, motoring literature, brochures, mascots, automobilia, workshop manuals, etc., in fact, anything concerned with motoring, with the emphasis being on the older (and not-so-old) collector's car or motorcycle.
The event is open to the general public at 10am, with an admission charge of £5, accompanied child under 12 free. Parking is free and there is a free display-to-sell area for classic vehicles.
