Packards at Bonhams

Just as Classic American went to press we received news of one of the largest private collections of Packards going under the hammer at auctioneers Bonhams collector car auction scheduled to take place on March 3.

The cars included the following:
• 1929 Packard Standard Eight 633 Sedan
• 1953 Packard Clipper Deluxe Sedan Project
• 1953 Packard Cavalier Sedan Project
• 1956 Packard Patrician Sedan
• 1937 Packard Eight Sports Special
• 1939 Packard Eight Sedan
• 1948 Packard Eight Sedan
• 1946 Packard Clipper Six Sedan
• 1951 Packard 250 Series Convertible
• 1952 Packard 200 Series Deluxe Sedan
• 1956 Packard Four Hundred Coupe Project
• 1958 Packard Hawk Supercharged Coupe
• 1959 Lincoln Continental MkIV Convertible

Other American vehicles in the sale include a 1914 Studebaker 20bhp Landau Roadster, a 1923 Dodge Tourer and a 1941 Graham Paige. Watch out for a full report in May’s issue of Classic American magazine.
