New CAR CRAFT magazine LOUD – FAST – REAL clothing line introduced

In celebration of CAR CRAFT magazine’s impending 60th anniversary, GTUSA has introduced a new line of clothing that reinforces CAR CRAFT’s LOUD, FAST, REAL editorial message.

First published under the title HONK! in April 1953, CAR CRAFT was edited by the legendary Wally Parks and although pocket-sized (so that enthusiastic young readers could hide it in their school books), it soon became a major title in what was to become the Petersen Publishing empire.

Sixty years on, under the editorship of Doug Glad, CAR CRAFT remains essential reading for the crowd that likes their cars, well-loud, fast and real. To help celebrate 60 years of passion GTUSA is rolling out a line of clothing designed to fit the lifestyle of CAR CRAFT readers.

In keeping with the spirit of what CAR CRAFT Magazine is all about – American muscle – these commemorative T-shirts are made using 100% American ring spun cotton and, they are designed and printed in Los Angeles. Available in sizes S through XXXL the shirts are quality 5.5oz pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage and have a traditional fit. They are also enzyme washed and silicon rinsed for a super-soft feel. “I live with these shirts,” said Glad. “They’re comfortable, heavy duty and yet cool enough to wear just about anywhere.”

High-quality Flex Fit caps are also included in the collection, and share the line’s mixture of trendy and hardcore enthusiast graphics. As the 60th anniversary approaches, more exciting products will be introduced.
