The grand final of the 2011 Footman James Classic American Car of the Year competition was held over the weekend of November 11-13 at the Classic Motor Show held at Birmingham's NEC.
In a nail-biting finish, the winner of this year's competition was revealed on Sunday afternoon. Seven finalists took their place on the stand and the cars were judged by three independent judges.
The winning car was a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 belonging to Gavin Shaw from Hampshire. This car and all the other Car of the Year finalists will feature in the March issue of Classic American.
